Lily Aldridge and the Return of the Culotte

There are some women who possess an innate ability to look elegant and effortless at the airport—Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, to name but a few. Lily Aldridge proved a strong contender for that list last week when she jetted out of Los Angeles International airport dressed in a pair of wide-leg culottes. The abbreviated trouser was featured on the runways at Public School, Victoria Beckham, and Rag Bone, and Aldridge took the look into a soft and decidedly wearable direction. Saddle-color leather accessories were a nice touch, as were the sixties-style sunglasses. To pull off a cropped silhouette, take cues from Aldridge and pair pants with a sleek top.
