Miley Cyrus had quite the Oscars night. Not only did she bring a pair of barely-there bleached brows to the occasion, but she also had a completely new haircut mid-way through the celebrations. First arriving to the 97th Academy Awards with tumbling waves and a flipped-over quiff, by the time the Vanity Fair Oscar Party rolled around, she had a new fringe and slick ponytail.
Somewhere en route between the official awards ceremony (during which she presented the award for Best Sound, alongside Miles Teller) and the after-party, Cyrus chopped her flipped fringe into a feathery, Berlin-esque one. Her new micro-fringe is a marked departure from the longer, eye-grazing bangs she’s been wearing for a moment now. Even her Grammy’s jellyfish cut had a flicked fringe that covered her (then dark blonde) brows.
Stepping onto the Vanity Fair after-party red carpet with boyfriend Maxx Morando, she also switched her Alexander McQueen dress for a strapless Maison Margiela LBD. It just goes to show a new haircut really can make or break a look.
