Miley Cyrus and boyfriend Maxx Morando have kept things pretty low-key across their four-year relationship—so low-key, in fact, that their sporadic public appearances tend to be followed by questions on social media like, “Who’s Miley’s hot date?” Well, it’s Maxx Morando, drummer for the Los Angeles rock band Lilly—and now, Cyrus’s fiancé.
On December 1, when Cyrus and Morando attended the premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash in Los Angeles, the 33-year-old pop star posed for photos on the red carpet with her hand placed upon the 27-year-old musician’s chest—and a diamond ring sparkling on her left ring finger. (It’s a cushion-cut stone on a 14k yellow gold band by Jacquie Aiche, the jeweler tapped by everyone from Rihanna to Gigi Hadid.) Sources confirmed the news to Page Six, and Morando’s father shared a congratulatory post on social media, showing the couple hugging and smiling with the caption: “❤️ 💍🍾🎉.”
