As the weather warms and we all seek out the perfect beach read, or the best play to see with our friends, five Vogue culture experts are here to share their top picks for the summer ahead.
On a convivial, transatlantic Zoom call, Chloe and Vogue’s Taylor Antrim chatted with Chioma and British Vogue’s Hayley Maitland and Radhika Seth about everything from the new season of everyone’s favorite guilty pleasure, Bridgerton, to the book-turned-television series Queenie, which Chioma described as a “snackable” watch. The London crew also shared their love for Game of Thrones and its hit prequel, House of the Dragon, which returns for its second season next month. The group went on to speculate about why another prequel, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga—which Taylor loved—had such a soft opening weekend.
At the top of the show, Chioma filled Chloe in on the “world tour” she embarked on this past month. First, she went on a two-day trip to Barcelona, where she saw the Louis Vuitton resort show at the Park Güell and caught up with Pharrell Williams and Sophie Turner. Then, for the long holiday weekend, she explored Rome for her best friend’s birthday and got a historical tour of the Colosseum—living out her Game of Thrones dreams!
