From seasoned skiers to those who’ve never stepped foot on a snowy mountain, December 2 marks the arrival of the Perfect Moment x H&M collaboration: a 28-piece après-ski capsule that brings the brand’s luxury performance ski wear to a wider audience, fulfilling all your winter dressing dreams, from city to chalet.
Perfect Moment, long loved for its elevated yet playful take on performance skiwear caught H&M’s attention for one reason: the brand was first. A trailblazer in bringing modern aesthetics to the slopes, Perfect Moment was one of the earliest ski labels sold on Net-a-Porter and Mytheresa, carving out a space for trend-driven skiwear before the category even existed. As co-founder and creative director Jane Gottschalk recalls, “They didn’t even know where to put us.” Its playful star motifs and streamlined silhouettes helped define the modern après-ski look—joyful, athletic, and fashion-forward.

However, you don’t need to ski black diamond runs to get the look—“Skiing is everywhere,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s creative director, who helped lead the design process in Stockholm. Working together with Gottschalk for over a year—under the secret internal code “Aspen”—the two crafted a collection that captures the spirit of modern alpine style without confining it to the chalet. From the Swiss Alps to the sidewalks of Broadway, the collection brings that inimitable, mountain-side swagger to your cold-weather wardrobe.
Perfect Moment’s signature motifs punctuate the various knits and jackets, with a suite of accessories—sleek goggles, cozy knee-high socks, and snow boots—rounding out the assortment. The palette of deep burgundy, icy blue, silver, and classic black builds on Perfect Moment’s color story of modern neutrals and striking metallics.
To bring the collection to life, the brands hosted a star-studded trip to Verbier in the Swiss Alps, where Lila Moss, Justine Skye, and Calum Harper took to the slopes—and the après-ski scene—in full Perfect Moment x H&M looks. Each wore the collection in their own way—some committing to head to toe burgundy, others cleverly clashing prints with stripes and Perfect Moment’s signature star motifs.
Each piece a confident statement rooted in the brand’s lively DNA, the beauty of this capsule is its versatility, transitioning effortlessly from winter travel to fireside lounging to holiday dressing. Let the star-print puffer steal the spotlight next to black lounge pants, give the knit dress a polished lift with knee-high boots, or add a pop of color to your off-duty uniform with the striped wool balaclava.
With plenty of standouts in the collection, Johansson says she most drawn to the silver-foil vest: “A great layer to go from city to chalet.” Gottschalk, a mother of five who could never play favorites, measures success by what all her four daughters would wear: “I want them to go, ‘Oh my god, Mom, you nailed it.’” And with most styles keeping under $350, she notes that “everyone can get a piece that feels true to the brand.”
Above all, the collection captures the feeling of winter itself: cozy, spirited, a little nostalgic. Designed for chalets, city streets, and everything in between, it invites you to find your own version of a “perfect moment”—one that’s shared, spontaneous, and never about perfection at all.
