Romeo Beckham’s Festive Burberry Ad Premieres in London

A mini movie starring Romeo Beckham and promoting Burberry premieres in London, kicking off the Christmas shopping season.

Three generations of the Beckham dynasty were gathered on a high balcony to watch the premiere of **Romeo Beckham’**s appearance in Burberry’s all-singing, all-dancing holiday commercial in London. Conveniently, Burberry’s flagship store on Regent Street happens to be a converted theater, providing the perfect venue for a giant screen and a party in the “pit.” Victoria and David and both sets of grandparents overlooked the scene, dashing away proud tears as they watched their little tyke twirling through the MGM-style pastiche—all whirling umbrellas and formation dancers in trench coats and Burberry ballgowns. Ed Harcourt performed a live rendition of the song he wrote for the soundtrack, and Christopher Bailey and his husband Simon Woods circulated amongst the just-unveiled revolving mirrored stacks of gift-y-looking handbags and fragrances. And with that, Burberry was the first to declare the Christmas season open for business.
