Selena Gomez previously told Vogue that she felt “very business-esque” with the sleek bob haircut she adopted last year. Now, the singer and beauty mogul has added a new, equally impactful style to her repertoire: a sleek, super-long plait, the handiwork of Orlando Pita, which she debuted at an event for her Rare Beauty line in New York.
Makeup artist Hung Vanngo posted a TikTok-inspired reel of Selena’s extreme plait, showing the singer going from bare-faced to sleek and camera-ready in a flash. The clip also offered a close-up of her chosen beauty look, comprised of winged eyeliner and a glossy lip, achieved using her own-brand Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil.

Making Gomez’s signature statement brows look good requires little effort. Her secret? “I do not pluck them—I don’t get them waxed; they are not touched! I just do little things here and there to fix them. My tip is not to go in with the tweezers!” she previously revealed.
Gomez nailed her hair and makeup, and her outfit meant business, too. Her stylist Kate Young selected a fuzzy coat, tailored trousers, and sleek boots from Paris Texas for her client to wear, complete with a work-meets-play bag from Delvaux.
