The multi-hyphenate stepped out at last night s 2020 Hollywood Beauty Awards in a bright, buoyant makeup look punctuated by a scene-stealing shade of coral lipstick that is likely to have been plucked from her forthcoming line, Rare Beauty.
To celebrate longtime makeup artist Hung Vanngo s award-winning evening, Gomez opted for a lustrous updo marked by romantic raking at the crown and a pull of soft bends left loose to frame her face. A set of bohemian bangs skimming against long lashes and lids edged in subtle shimmer, the updo s vintage nature was balanced perfectly by Gomez s springtime siren makeup palette. Immaculate skin played host to a simple swirl of peachy blush—all the better to highlight her over-lined, coral pout. Rare Beauty isn t slated to release until summer, but with hues like these, it s safe to say that the line s arrival is bound to be a striking—and successful—one.
