You might have noticed Thom Browne was missing from the NYFW schedule. Now we know why. The designer will present his Fall 2026 collection in San Francisco at GQ Bowl, an event fusing fashion and sport, taking place the Friday before Super Bowl LX at the Legion of Honor Museum.
Hosted by Thom Browne and Will Welch, global editorial director of GQ, the event will feature a live-stream red carpet and co-ed runway show, featuring models, athletes, and notable friends of GQ and Thom Browne, the companies announced today.
The show will be streamed on GQ.com and YouTube at 7pm PT / 10pm ET.
Browne is no stranger to football. For the past decade, the designer has held an annual football game, which serves as a seasonal campaign to underscore the brand’s collegiate spirit. Usually, friends of the brand, models, and celebrities play in Browne’s signature grey performance wear.
Previous editions have taken place at Browne’s alma mater, the University of Notre Dame. But last season, the designer partnered with GQ to bring the game to New York Fashion Week, with ‘players’ including actor Danny Ramirez and model Julez Smith, and cheerleaders including creator Morgan Riddle and actor Yasmin Finney.
Thom Browne’s GQ Bowl is the second edition of the event, which was launched last year in New Orleans, featuring a runway show from Bode’s Bode Rec. label. Attendees included NFL players Braxton Berrios, CeeDee Lamb and Ja’Marr Chase.
