Haider Ackermann’s debut show for Tom Ford is just days away in Paris, but last night, we got a sneak peek of what’s to come at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars Party. And we’re very excited.

Timothée Chalamet, who was nominated for Best Actor for his performance as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, may not have taken home the trophy, but he won the style game when he arrived on the red carpet in a Tom Ford suit by Ackerman: a silk polka dot jacquard cropped tuxedo blazer with a lapel-less white button up and slim black trousers. The actor had been favoriting a cropped silhouette in his tailoring; the custom butter yellow Sarah Burton for Givenchy suit (another preview of a must-watch Paris debut to come) he wore for the ceremony also sported a similar crop, ending right at the hip bones, which makes the 5’10” actor appear leaner and taller. Back in January, Chalamet had debuted Ackermann s first-ever Tom Ford look at the Golden Globes, a skinny suit with a blue scarf artfully wrapped around the neck.

Now that award season has wrapped-up, we hope this means we’ll get a Chalamet appearance at Paris Fashion Week to support Ackerman in this new phase of his life. After all, that’s what friends are for.
