For Versace’s pastel-drenched spring 2025 collection, Donatella Versace nodded to the past, riffing on the house’s spring 1997 Versus show. Yet it was a slightly more recent launch that inspired many of the season’s accessories: a nearly 20-year-old beauty product.

In 2006, long before most other fashion houses had thrown a hat into the beauty business, Versace launched the fruity-floral scent Bright Crystal. The fragrance still lives on today, with three sister scents: Crystal Noir, Yellow Diamond, and Absolu. At the spring 2025 show, the Bright Crystal bottle appeared on wrists in the form of charm bracelets (with juice inside!), as heel-blocks for mules, and oversized transparent clutches. (The faux bottles were made of plexiglass, rendering them far more sturdy for day-to-day wear than the hand-blown glass used for the fragrance version.)

The entire collection is now available to shop, wear, and flaunt. I’m partial to the baby-blue slingbacks, which would look fabulous paired with the scent (duh). Genius marketing to remind shoppers that you have a beauty brand? Yes. Also a covetable item for Bright Crystal lovers like myself? Double yes.
