The Italian brand s line has long been a favorite of travelers to Europe (where it s available at the very glamorous Harrods and Dolce Gabbana boutiques), but now you can finally pick it up here stateside. The first collection collection, named “Devotion,” is all emblazoned with the brand s iconic Sacred Heart.
The 12-piece collection is comprised of a volumizing mascara, illuminating face powder, and a selection of liquid lipsticks (nine roseate shades, all in a matte finish). The release traffics in romantic glamour, a notion reflected in the gold-heavy packaging.
The love-lorn line-up focuses vegan, upcycled, sustainable, and oft-Italian ingredients, all with application strategies meant to mimic the natural beauty that comes with intimacy. The brand recommends blending lip color with fingers to achieve a blurred effect (the sort that comes with kissing), a dusting of the Illuminating Face Powder for instantaneous radiance, and a swipe (or several) of mascara for a dose of intensity (aka #drama). Because actually falling in love and looking like you re falling in love are two sides of a frequently tossed coin—and we re here for both.
