It was a fiery fashion month—and not just because of all the designer debuts. Showgoers at the spring 2026 collections brought their boldest ’fits, and made sure they stood out by showing a preference for the color red—arguably the color of the moment.
Many of the bold silhouette experiments we’ve been seeing on the runways are making their way into the real world, bustles in particular. Similarly, we saw beauty choices go to the next dimension, with face paint emerging as a trend—we can probably thank Rick Owens and Matières Fécales for its popularity.
All that said, comfort is just as essential as an over-the-top look. Sweatshirts had a huge moment with street stylers pairing this familiar favorite with dressier fits. For those who wanted a more royal touch, capes were the must-have outerwear piece, as seen first outside Daniel Lee’s Burberry.
