Tory Burch s cheerful take on classics just landed her the CFDA Accessories award, so she isn t about to change her formula. "I wanted to capture the mood of island living," the designer said of her Resort collection, which featured caftans, colorful ikats, and Indian-print tees like those she used to wear in high school. Yacht-ready and poolside gear wasn t all Burch had in mind, though. Inspired by her father s "effortless and pulled-together" style, she offered looks—logo-button toppers, jeans in a rainbow of colors, metallic pieces—that could as easily go to work as to the Bahamas.
