Fall 2016 inspiration: For his Remind Rewind collection, designer Kwon pulled inspiration from the “renaissance of K-pop”: padded pin-striped suits and wool duffle coats once worn by college students in the ’90s alongside oversize aubergine bombers in leather and tweed. A series of logo cashmere turtlenecks came emblazoned with the word Oppa in English and Hangul, a playful nod to the idol culture that continues to dominate Korea today.
