It’s the start of a new era for Private Policy, which, right before New York Fashion Week, announced that Siying Qu would be stepping down as half of the creative direction of the brand. Today’s collection was solely presented by Haoran Li.

The spring 2026 show focused on AI. Li wanted to discuss the relationship between humans and AI, and whether they could be friends, but the clothes themselves did not reflect that theme. He instead mostly presented workwear-inspired pieces with a hint of polka dots incorporated throughout. However, there was a gimmicky robot that walked the runway alongside the models.

It was evident through the show that Li’s strong suits lie in the workwear. One of the best pieces from the collection was a pair of military green trousers paired with a polka dot printed bubble pant. The cropped jackets with strong shoulders made a strong impact on the runway.
