So Many Models Stopped by Alex Consani’s 2025 Met Gala After-Party

While the Met Gala unfolds within the storied halls of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the revelry hardly ends there. As soon as the red carpet is cleared and the final flashbulb pops, the after-party circuit kicks off. Celebrities descend the Met steps and scatter across Manhattan, slipping into a flurry of exclusive late-night fêtes.

Among the venues securing a coveted spot on this year’s after-party roster was the Water Street Associates (WSA) Building—a members club and creative workspace turned nightlife destination for the evening. The 2025 celebration marked WSA’s third annual Met Gala after-party and was hosted by a powerhouse quartet: Alex Consani, Carlos Nazario, Paloma Elsesser, and Raul Lopez.

Fresh from the Met, the hosts arrived in style. Lopez wore a rich brown moiré suit; Consani and Elsesser opted for suiting-inspired gowns—hers encrusted with Swarovski crystals, his feathered and red Ferragamo. Both changed for the after-party, with Consani slipping into a gleaming gold mini and Elsesser donning Maison Margiela.

While Met Gala ensembles often pay homage to the exhibition—in this case, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”—after-party looks tend to lean sultrier and more free-form. At WSA, the dress code skewed noir and daring: cutouts, sheer panels, and inventive silhouettes ruled the dance floor. Models including Vittoria Ceretti, Lineisy Montero, and Ugbad Abdi arrived in full fashion mode.

Guests entered through a dramatic floral staircase before ascending to the fourth floor, where a playful spread awaited: bowls overflowing with olives, mannequin hands offering confections, and a martini tower dressed with fruit—plus Lagavulin Single Malt Scotch Whisky cocktails.
