    With hours to go, it’s all about the last-minute detail and decoration. Hot-air balloon floral center pieces were perfected, tables laid, and dance floor swept. It was starting to look rather magical.

    Hello, Navajo and Geronimo! The adorable miniature Shetland ponies arrive and steal the show even before it’s begun. They got there early to do a walk around the tent and perfect their macaron delivery, as they were later to have baskets on their backs filled with flowers and candy.

    By Appointment Only Design working away using every color and flower under the sun. The table displays were feasts of peonies, hydrangeas, roses, and freesia, which filled the room with heavenly smells and the abundance of an English summer garden.

    Glam squad a-go-go! My lovely Amanda from InParlour working her magic with our hair and makeup in my bedroom, aka Beauty HQ. Two hours before the party, this is where all the girls were hanging out. We couldn’t even keep the men away.
