Joe Burrow! Simone Biles! Serena Williams! See All the Athletes in Attendance at the 2025 Met Gala

Sports and fashion have never been so intertwined—and the dovetailing was on full view at the 2025 Met Gala, where athletes stepped out en masse.

Two athletes, of course, served as cohosts: seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton and basketball megastar LeBron James (who was absent due to injury). Hamilton wore a knockout cream-colored Wales Bonner suit, replete with a beret.

There was also a showing of Paris Olympians, including gymnast GOAT Simone Biles (in bright blue Harbison Studio, along with her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens) and track-and-field medalists Sha’Carri Richardson, Gabrielle Thomas, and Noah Lyles.

LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson made her first Met Gala appearance, as did the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. On the flip side, Met Gala regulars Venus and Serena Williams were back, the latter in sky blue Moncler.
