After the actual ceremony on Sunday evening at London’s Royal Festival Hall, guests filed down into the ballroom for dinner. What was on the menu? An intriguing, BAFTA mask-stamped tin of vegan caviar starter, followed by chicken and a date puree topped with spiced falafel, and a delightful chocolate cup sundae shaped like a popcorn box, filled with strawberry cheesecake and toffee pieces. A look around the room saw a swath of these sweet cinematic desserts left to melt—the doors had opened to the official afterparty in the Engine Rooms, obviously.

While some stayed for the afterparty, many absconded to Netflix’s annual BAFTAs [arty, at the aforementioned The Twenty Two in Mayfair. It was a jubilant event, spirits high from the four award wins clinched for the streaming platform earlier on for Emilia Pérez and the animated movie Wallace Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. Winners, nominees, and friends of the platform were in attendance, included Zoe Saldaña, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sebastian Stan, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Kate Hudson, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Hugh Grant, Jeremy Strong, Colman Domingo, Vanessa Kirby, Lupita Nyong’o, Micheal Ward, Will Poulter, Lucien Laviscount, and Charithra Chandran.

And then, where else, but to British Vogue’s Fashion Film afterparty? This year Vogue, teamed up with GQ for the now traditional event, with winners Mikey Madison and Adrien Brody acting as co-hosts, partying together with Cynthia Erivo, Harris Dickinson, Alexa Chung, and more. This arm of Vogue has yet to get confirmation on the evening’s playlist, but we’re hoping “Father Figure” got a spin. Whether they took home a trophy or not, everyone surely left with a story (whether it’s one they care to share or not).
