The Cool Kids Celebrated the British Fashion Council’s 2021 New Wave: Creatives

What’s the best way to fete the next generation of creatives? By getting TikTok involved, of course. Last night at the Public Hotel’s newest spot, Bar Chrystie, The British Fashion Council’s Caroline Rush and editor/hairstylist extraordinaire Jawara Wauchope gathered a group to celebrate the council’s  2021 New Wave: Creatives—a list of the fifty innovative and inspiring young talents.

The lucky 50, however, were only announced today—and they’ll be further celebrated come on November 29 when the BFC hosts its annual award ceremony at London’s Royal Albert Hall. So last night, the nominees were stress-free and able to enjoy the tunes from DJ Ty Sunderland while soaking up each other’s Gen-Z coolness. Guests included Evan Mock, John Yuyi, Quil Lemons, Young Emperors, and more.
