Law Roach, Alexander Skarsgård, and Cooper Koch Celebrate Calvin Klein’s NYFW Comeback

Calvin Klein is back! America’s most renowned fashion brand returned to New York Fashion Week on Friday after a nearly seven-year hiatus. Helmed by Veronica Leoni—the label’s first-ever female creative director—the debut of her Calvin Klein Collection was the most eagerly anticipated event on the NYC Fall/Winter 2025 calendar. Even Klein, the legendary designer himself, sat front row at the runway show along with his OG Calvin Klein muses Kate Moss and Christy Turlington to witness Leoni’s inaugural outing.
“I’m thrilled, actually. I’m over the moon!” a jubilant Leoni told Vogue about the outcome of the presentation while mingling at the fashion house’s post-show cocktail party at the Clemente Bar, the new plant-based lounge perched above Eleven Madison Park’s main dining room. “I was not stressed. I was waiting for the moment to happen ’cause we worked hard. I’m really happy with everything, and I hope people are going to take away my fantasy of American style. Now that the show is over, I’m happy to celebrate.”
A bustling crowd of celebrities (Alexander Skarsgård and Cooper Koch), stylists (Law Roach, Rachel Zoe, and June Ambrose), fashion figures, and members of Leoni’s family gathered together to toast the Rome-born designer at the intimate gathering. “Veronica did an amazing job. The show was everything I expected to be—chic, minimalistic, and I expected to want to wear so many of the clothes,” Roach said while relaxing on a plush couch. “I think Veronica is going to make Calvin Klein the place where you get an entire wardrobe. Everything seems to be able to mix and match, which is really important in this economy. We want to get clothes that we can really wear, and I think Veronica has done that.”
As each VIP invitee arrived, they immediately made a beeline for Leoni to congratulate her. Skarsgård, the Emmy award-winning actor and the star of Calvin Klein’s sexy Fall 2024 menswear campaign, greeted the designer with a kiss on the cheek, and the two shared a long conversation. “It was an extraordinary experience to be at the show today and see what Veronica has done with the brand. The clothes were exquisite,” Skarsgård told Vogue moments after chatting with Leoni. “And it was really a historic day to sit and observe Mr. Calvin Klein. I don’t know the last time he was at a show, but I understand it’s been a long time. My biggest takeaway was watching him reunite with Kate Moss—the legend of the 90s. I grew up in the 90s and what Calvin represented then with Kate Moss and the Marky Mark underwear campaign, it’s so iconic.”
Koch, the breakout actor from Netflix’s Monsters: The Erik and Lyle Menendez Story, also appreciates the brand’s famous undergarment. “I don’t remember a time when I didn’t have a pair of Calvin Klein underwear in my drawers. I’m wearing Calvin Klein underwear right now,” Koch said while enjoying a drink near the bar. “I came out of the womb wearing Calvin Klein! The underwear is classic.”
Koch wasn’t the only guest rocking Calvin Klein attire. Dree Hemingway looked cool in a black CK Jeans T-shirt and blue jeans. Over a glass of red wine, she spent the evening seated in a corner banquette socializing with The Gilded Age actress Louisa Jacobson. Nearby, actress Eve Hewson spoke with a friend surrounded by large custom paintings from artist Francesco Clemente. As the party came to a close, Skarsgård perfectly summed up Leoni’s milestone moment. “It’s been really an inspiring and beautiful day. I’m so happy to be here and to celebrate Veronica.”
