Nara and Lucky Blue Smith Joined Clarins for an “Iconic” Party in Los Angeles
Iconic was the name of the game last night as French heritage beauty brand Clarins hosted a glittering party at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. With the iconic Hollywood Hills serving as a backdrop and the Dolby Family Terrace’s glass dome rooftop aglow in the brand’s signature red, the event was a celebration of beauty icons and Clarins most iconic products.
Upon arrival, guests crossed the Barbra Streisand Bridge, where they were greeted by a barrage of flashing cameras and a frenzy of photographers shouting and jostling for position—making every attendee feel like a true icon.
As the glowing crowd, including Maude Apatow, Alessandra Ambrosio, Justin Long, Kate Bosworth, Dylan Efron, Lukas Gage, Jodie Turner-Smith, Elsa Hosk, Paris and Dylan Brosnan, Shanika Shaik, and Stassi Schroeder, glided down the red carpet to the sound of classic tunes spun by DJ Tay James, the buzz was all about one thing: beauty routines.
But what everyone was truly dying to know were the beauty secrets of the night’s most iconic couple—models and social media stars Nara and Lucky Blue Smith. When asked by Vogue who the real beauty icon of the pair was, Lucky quickly pointed to Nara and said, “Nara! Look at her.” Nara, with a smile, concurred, “I’ll have to say me.”
The couple, known for doing their skincare routines together, also gave Vogue a glimpse into their beauty regimens. Lucky admitted, “Before I met Nara, I didn’t have a skincare routine, but she got me into it. I steal her moisturizer.” Nara laughed, adding, “Yeah, he used to take off his set makeup with shampoo in the shower. Now he steals my Double Serum because his runs out faster.”
They also spilled the tea on their beauty cabinet must-haves. “We’ve got a lot of hydrating products,” Nara shared. “I want everyone to look super glowy.” As for Nara’s handbag essential? “The Clarins Tinted Lip Oil is my go-to,” she revealed.
As the venue filled up, the crowd was treated to French fries and sliders courtesy of Jean-Georges. Meanwhile, over at the Clarins Icons beauty bar, featuring cult-favorites like the Double Serum, Lip Oils, and Total Eye Lift, guests enjoyed beauty consultations and were gifted with goodie bags.
As the celebrations flowed with Champagne and a decadent pâtisserie bar, Running Point star Chet Hanks was spotted roaming the venue, looking slightly befuddled. When asked by Vogue about his skincare routine, he hazarded, “I don’t know, moisturizer? I gotta work on that.”
