Two Decades of Erdem! Vogue100 Fêtes the Designer With a Dinner at the British Museum

British designer Erdem Moralıoğlu has long made museums his mise-en-scène. Since his 2009 debut at the V&A, he has staged collections amid London’s most storied institutions—from the National Portrait Gallery to the British Museum.
With his 20th anniversary on the horizon, Erdem’s spring/summer 2026 outing saluted the cultural landmarks that have shaped his imagination. The night began with cocktails in the Egyptian Gallery, where editors, guests, and Vogue100 gathered beneath ancient relics to toast the new collection.
Dinner followed beneath the Great Court’s soaring glass canopy, then into the Enlightenment Gallery—steeped in history, transformed into something intimate and shimmering for the occasion. At candlelit tables, friends and muses, including Olivia Munn and Rashida Jones, wore his signature designs.
The evening doubled as a celebration of Erdem’s enduring relationship with the British Museum and a moment of camaraderie: he raised a glass to his longtime friend Roksanda Ilinčić, who marked her own 20th anniversary the night prior. In true Erdem fashion, he circled the room before the main course, greeting each guest with warmth and grace—an intimate gesture that underscores the personal spirit at the heart of his work.
