Kendall! Teyana! Cardi! Gavin Newsom! Who Wasn’t at the Fanatics Super Bowl Party?!
Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Super Bowl Party was the it invite this weekend ahead of the game. The annual, late afternoon bash was once again jam-packed with famous faces—including Jay-Z, Kendall Jenner, Tom Brady, and Cardi B—all gathered inside a sprawling industrial warehouse at Pier 48 overlooking the San Francisco Bay.
“We have this party every year because I love bringing incredible people together,” Rubin, founder and CEO, told Vogue. “So many people get to meet each other, and great things come from that. I always hope this party allows people to learn from each other and do great things together.”
Brady was one of the first guests to arrive at the waterfront venue on Saturday afternoon. He made his way down the red carpet, followed by NFL players Odell Beckham Jr., Joe Burrow, Russell Wilson, and Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots. Jenner skipped the red carpet, but inside she stopped to snap a photo with Kraft before stationing herself in the VIP area to socialize with friends.
At the center of the action was a sunglasses-wearing Jay-Z, who was perched on the backrest of a plush sofa while enjoying a performance by rapper Don Toliver, mouthing along the lyrics to his hit No Pole. Standing directly behind him was Tiffany Haddish, who has attended the Fanatics gathering numerous times. “This is the best Super Bowl party because there’s always good food, good drinks, and good vibes,” she told Vogue. “Really great people are always here and so it’s like a reunion—an annual reunion of talent and greatness.”
Guests at the event were treated to a roster of surprise live performances including sets by Travis Scott, Cardi B, SZA, Ashanti, Nelly, and Ciara. Actress Sofía Vergara was first on the dance floor once the beats to Nelly’s Hot In Herre could be heard. Later on, the Modern Family star caught up with Orlando Bloom and J Balvin. Meanwhile Teyana Taylor was spotted graciously pouring drinks for some friends while joyously singing along to 1, 2 Step as Ciara belted out her chart topper. Nearby, Jon Hamm spotted California Governor Gavin Newsom and greeted him with a hug. The Mad Men actor then hit the dance floor with his wife, Anna Osceola; the pair singing along with Ashanti.
As the event unfolded, trays of margherita pizza, bento boxes filled with sushi, and plates of mini churros fueled partygoers, which also included Zac Efron, Jamie Foxx, Shaboozey, Kevin Costner, La La Anthony, Emma Roberts, MGK, Kevin Hart, Becky G, Keke Palmer, Spike Lee, Jon Bon Jovi, and Gayle King.
