Gisele Bündchen and Frame Threw the Ultimate Cool Kid Dinner During New York Fashion Week

The restaurant at Jean’s—the NoHo hotspot with a basement club that’s hosted buzzy parties for everyone from Emily Ratajkowski to J.Crew—isn’t technically open yet. But, for one night only, it decided to make an exception for Frame, the LA-based fashion brand known for its denim essentials.
It was a wise choice: the evening, co-hosted by co-founder Erik Torstensson and Gisele Bündchen, brought in an incredibly star-studded crowd: actors Annabelle Wallis, Sarita Choudhury, Laura Harrier, and Sarah Hyland were there, as were models Pat Cleveland and Andreea Diaconu. Peter Dundas and Jenna Lyons also showed support for their fellow designer.
Jean’s—with its Scalamandre-esque red velvet zebra curtains and chrome gold walls—already has its fair share of distinctive decor, but Torstensson somehow put even more of a signature spin. Guests sat on ’80s chrome chairs and walked over shag pile rugs, whereas tables were dotted with oversized palms.
Gisele sat in the center of a long table, looking impeccable yet effortless in a slouchy denim jacket she styled as a dress. Around her, the fashionable crowd ate Thai chicken salads, pesto pasta, and tomatoes with burrata sourced from Jean’s own farm in New Hope, Pennsylvania. There were no speeches or overly branded moments: Tortsensson, instead, made this feel like an edgily raucous dinner party where the drinks kept flowing and attendees bopped up and out of booths to go visit friends or hang out by the bar. (While technically there were seating assignments, as the night grew later, those felt like mere suggestions as people mixed and mingled around the room.) On a Saturday night during New York Fashion Week, it was clear there was no cooler place to be.
