Ganni and Nguyen Inc Threw a Karaoke Party During New York Fashion Week

At the heart of both Instagram-favorite Copenhagen brand Ganni and emerging NYC gem Nguyen Inc is a fun-loving ethos. Both purveyors of garments unapologetically doused in color and print, often complete with unique silhouettes or textures, the brands also share the mission of creating said garments in the most environmentally responsible way possible. Enter Ganni’s latest drop, a run of remixes of the brand’s hit styles, created with Nguyen Inc’s Kim Nguyen. In New York, they came together to feat the collection in just about the most aptly fun-filled way possible—with a karaoke party.

The brands chose family-owned karaoke bar Planet Rose for the night. That it’s self-described as a lounge with lipstick-red walls and zebra seats for amateur singers sets the scene. Its ceilings sprinkled in multi-color lights that reflect off the floors and walls, leaving them festively spotted, its an establishment that likely draws in a cool, lowkey crowd weekly. Tonight, Ganni with its massive fanbase, and Nguyen Inc a small brand with big ties to some of New York’s coolest fashion kids, the night’s crowd included the likes of Paloma Elsesser, AnnaSophia Robb, Ella Emhoff, Slayyyter, and Devin Halbal.
