Hellessy and French Bloom Celebrated Their First Collaboration With a Cocktail Soirée in Paris

Up on the seventh floor of La Fantaisie, a newly opened hotel immersed in a picturesque garden in the Faubourg-Montmartre neighborhood, a cocktail soirée was being thrown in honor of a collaboration between New York-based fashion label Hellessy and the alcohol-free sparkling wine brand French Bloom.

French Bloom’s co-founders Constance Jablonski and Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger held court in pieces from the capsule collection, including a striped off-shoulder bustier top and jeans with pink satin bows. 20% of proceeds from each piece sold will benefit Cancer Cartel.

“This is what we’re all about,” Hellessy founder Sylvie Millstein tells Vogue of how they found their synergy. “We’re all women, we have kids, we want to be socially engaged. We came up with the idea for the clothes and charity partner and everything materialized.”

Attendees like Daria Strokous, Carlacia Grant, Phoenix Brown, Jessica Wang, Emilia Boateng, and Amy Juliette Lefevre mingled by the outdoor terrace and bar where French Bloom’s signature alcohol-free mocktails and drinks were served (the rosé was a big hit). The small bites were prepared by Chef Dominique Crenn, a breast cancer survivor who was the first woman in the United States to have 3 Michelin stars.

Jablonski, a longtime fan of Millstein’s feminine designs and laidback glamour, found a lot of similarities between both of their companies, particularly when it came to social causes and leading a stylish life. “For the two brands, it was really important that we did something that had meaning for us,” she said. “We both represent brands that really represent women. We thought it was a natural fit.”
