Everyone Was at h.wood Group and Revolve’s Homecoming Weekend Parties

As the saying goes, there’s no party like a Revolve and h.wood party. Alright, maybe that’s not quite the expression, but after this weekend’s events, its guests would certainly agree. Revolve, the online fashion and lifestyle retailer known for its close-knit relationships with top influencers, and John Terzian and Brian Toll of the h.wood Group, the hospitality company behind famed Los Angeles nightlife fixtures such as Bootsy Bellows, Poppy, and Delilah, threw a homecoming bash ahead of Super Bowl Sunday. The events grew some of the biggest and most unexpected names across music, fashion, entertainment, and sports.

New York Fashion Week taking place simultaneously on the opposite side of the country surely meant last-minute red-eye flights for appearances from a number of the night’s attendees to be made possible. Hosted at the West Hollywood Pacific Design Center, the programming felt more like a festival than a party. To set the scene, the two-night, invite-only bash, presented by PLACES.CO and Flow.com and produced by Uncommon Entertainment, saw at least 1,500 guests nightly and called for a full-fledged homecoming marching band. Plus, there were performances from inarguably two of the most prominent artists of the generation, Justin Bieber and Drake. 

The VIP list includes celebrities such as Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lizzo, Cardi B. and Offset, Olivia Rodrigo, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Kim, Mike Tyson, Diplo, Issa Rae, Adele, Winnie Harlow, Madison Pettis, Ray J, Ciara, Normani, Megan Thee Stallion, Jack Harlow, Cedric The Entertainer, Teyana Taylor, Becky G., and more. Inside, festive celebrants decked out in their favorite Revolve brands (some even dressed in soon-to-relaunch Revolve Man) could navigate their way through different activations and destinations. Among them was an NFL All Day experience that fully immersed guests in highlight RAMS Bengal plays and an outdoor lounge where guests could debrief and devour plant-based chicken bites from Daring Foods and cocktails from Beam Suntory. 

But everyone’s attention was refocused on the two headlining performances. On Friday, Justin Bieber serenaded the crowd with a slowed-down piano rendition of “Peaches” and flexed his dance moves to “Intentions.” On Saturday, Drake opened his performance with “What’s Next.” What actually was next (multiple songs later) was a near explosion of the crowd’s excitement when the rapper welcomed fellow artist Future on stage mid-performance to join him in their shared songs “Way 2 Sexy,” “Where Ya At.” After a few false endings, Drake, in the end, closed out his set with a tribute to his mentor, Lil Wayne, with Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” to which the entire audience rendered along. 

The night was anything but a “hi” and “bye” affair, with the first round of guests trickling in each night around 9:00 PM, not to depart until 2:00 AM. Cardi B. and Teyana Taylor danced in unison to Future’s “Commas,” Hailey and Justin Bieber slow danced, and Drake toasted shots to the crowd while on stage. And those are three things you just can’t say about most nights.
