Images of the Week: the Oscar Noms Are Out 

Awards season is in full swing (despite the lack of red carpets) and this week, the nominees for this year’s Academy Awards were announced. In the running for Best Actress are Olivia Colman, Kristen Stewart, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, and Jessica Chastain. We’ll be keeping a close eye on who wins and, of course, what they all wear to the ceremony. 

Kim Kardashian appeared on the March cover of Vogue in a Loewe sculptural dress. She spoke with writer Jen Wang about motherhood, co-parenting, and choosing herself. 

American figure skater Nathan Chen clinched a gold medal in the men’s singles category at the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing. He is the first American man to win a gold medal for figure skating in over a decade. 

New York Fashion Week is back for the fall 2022 season. Proenza Schouler kicked off the shows yesterday at the Brant Foundation in Manhattan. 

Finally, The Music Man, starring Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster, opened on Broadway this week. It was originally slated to open in October 2020, but was pushed due to the pandemic. After over a year of waiting, Jackman is onstage starring as Harold Hill.
