Myha’la and Marisa Abela Got Ready for Burberry With Sushi and a Robyn Playlist

Between Industry season 4 press, the BAFTAs, and the Burberry fall 2026 show, Myha’la and Marisa Abela are keeping plenty busy. Still, despite all the activities, the dynamic duo managed to stay attached at the hip throughout the weekend.
Following a night out with their Industry family at the BAFTAs, Myha’la and Marisa linked up before the Burberry show. “I checked into my room at the Twenty Two and immediately met Myha’la for Japanese food on North Audley Street, nattering away at the counter,” Marisa tells Vogue.
Getting ready together has become second nature for the longtime friends, who have primped together before premieres, nights out, and even Marisa’s wedding. Now, they have their routine down to a science. “I think I take longer than Myha’la in the preparation department—makeup, hair, clothes, all of that’s me. But Myha’la’s overall ritual is the longer one: matchas, music, making videos, taking pictures,” Marisa explains. “So when we’re getting ready together, we either balance each other or it takes twice as long…”
So what’s on the GRWM playlist? “We were really feeling Robyn today! I played “Show Me Love” off her 1995 album twice,” Myha’la says. “Incredible feel-good, hopeful vibes to give us a boost before facing the rain!”
Clearly, the sushi-Robyn combo was more than enough fuel. After they posed for photos on the pier, the two took their seats for the runway, where they were quick to pinpoint their favorite pieces. “We both LOVED the light fur coat with the embellishment on the bottom that was crazy,” Marisa says. “I think Myha’la would kill in that look.” Myha’la, meanwhile, has her eyes on the shoes. “I feel like generally people have been afraid to make a truly sexy shoe,” she says. “The first shoe stomping across the runway was a very high dusty pink pump with decorative hardware and a slutty little Mary Jane-esque strap. It set me off!”
Here, Myha’la and Marisa Abela bring Vogue along as they get ready for the Burberry show.
