We all know about breakfast at Tiffany’s, but British Vogue’s Fashion and Film Party, hosted at Annabel’s in partnership with Tiffany Co., has become a destination and glittering cornucopia for glamour and dancing after the BAFTA awards. Now in its third year, joining British Vogue’s editor in chief Edward Enninful OBE, as co-hosts were Charlize Theron, Riz Ahmed, and its March cover girl, Irina Shayk.
A diverse roll-call that included everyone from Victoria Beckham to Brian Cox, via Courtney Love, mingled at the Berkeley Square townhouse. The power of le smoking was seen on Charlize Theron and Beckham, while Florence Pugh gave ’80s power-dressing a whirl—well, actually, a ruffle...in a dramatic jade minidress. M.I.A. also took the Dynasty-nod in a Richard Quinn floral cocktail dress. Meanwhile, winning many admirers was Emma Corrin (The Crown’s young Princess Diana), looking business-elegant in her three-piece Celine pinstripe suit, complete with a dandy chiffon button hole. Also cutting a dash was Michael Ward, who took his bronzed award for Rising Star to the party.
Later, as Shayk was unmissable in her daring custom Burberry bodysuit and netted ensemble, the more pertinent guests also spotted a touching moment as she and Bradley Cooper lovingly embraced. The good vibes continued, with the newly engaged model Jourdan Dunn showcasing her ring and romance. And as the after-party was drawing to a close, Rihanna made her entrance at 3:30 a.m.—like a chic apparition—as the party continued a little longer in her honor.
