Kaia Gerber and Lucy Boynton Attended Loewe’s Over-the-Top Holiday Party

“The best parties you go to are house parties you never plan,” says Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson. However, the planning for the brand’s holiday party (which followed a splashy store opening for the label’s first New York City store) in a three-floor Upper East Side mansion must have been intense. Fake snow was dusted all over, enormous mushrooms were inflated on the landing, and waiters in skeleton knit suits from a recent William de Morgan collaboration were milling about refreshing coupes of Champagne. Making the scene all the more fantastical was a DJ set by Robyn—yes, there were screams and tears when she stepped behind the decks—as well as the crowd of people that had assembled to ring in the holidays in spectacular fashion.

On the staircases you could find Megan Rapinoe and Sasha Lane. Tessa Thompson and Lucy Boynton were in attendance too, as was a cabal of decade-spanning models, from Amber Valletta and Liya Kebede to Imaan Hammam and Kaia Gerber. Even with the A-list guests and OTT decor, the celebration retained an authentic house party vibe. So much so that not too many photos made it out of the manse. As it should be. What happens at a Loewe party stays at a Loewe party—especially one this good.
