LoveShackFancy Throws a Garden Party for its Spring 2022 Collection Launch

LoveShackFancy’s creative director and founder, Rebecca Hessel Cohen, is a master at more than her whimsical, vintage-inspired designs. Every season, Cohen creates an immersive world for LoveShackFancy lovers to experience her vision beyond clothes. And for the launch of her spring 2022 collection, which was presented as a garden party, SoHo’s Ladurée was an ideal venue.

Teeming with a plethora of pastel treats from macaroons to mini-sandwiches, the buzzy back patio also overflowed with LoveShackFancy’s finest. Guests including Huma Abedin, Casey Fremont, Nicky Hilton, Talita von Furstenberg, Kit Keenan, Jenny Cipoletti, Jessica Joffe, and Vogue’s Naomi Elizee and Mai Morsch, all showed up for the playful, feminine silhouettes and stayed for Karen Elson’s acoustic performance.

“Today is about celebration,” Cohen smiled, “The return of dressing up again embracing colors, florals, seeing old friends, and enjoying all of the fabulous things.”

Instead of a fast-paced runway show or staging statuesque models throughout the space, Cohen encouraged her gaggle of LoveShackFancy girls to enjoy the party along with the guests. And so they did. The models were moving and grooving to friend of the brand and DJ Pamela Tick’s upbeat tunes, showing off the latest LoveshackFancy numbers. Some struck a pose with a crochet parasol or a flowery fan, while others mixed and mingled about the excited crowd.
