My New Year resolution is to experiment with (and add) texture in my wardrobe. In an effort to polish up my look as I enter my mid-twenties, rather than kooky of-the-moment fads, I want to keep my look interesting by incorporating ruffles onto skirts, hardware atop a shiny patent-leather coat, mohair instead of wool for sweaters, and python versions of classic heels.

I have five ear piercings with nothing in them! My New Year’s resolution is to start dressing my ears as much as I do my body—after all nothing completes a look like a fun and playful set of mismatched earrings.

It’s well documented that I’m a fan of the turtleneck sweater—especially when paired with coordinating trousers for a monochromatic look. However, my fashion resolution for 2015 is to embrace prints more and to break up the one-note moments. When I first spied the discreet motif on Victoria Beckham, I appreciated how she balanced the overt femininity with a menswear shirt. Here’s hoping that the trouser version translates into an equally chic look when I don it with a turtleneck and classic loafers.

My fashion resolution for 2015: To have my feet look like those of an adult! I got a pair of Manolo Blahnik black BB heels for Christmas and fully plan on bringing some age-appropriate sophistication into my wardrobe in 2015.

My resolution is to find the perfect pant for 2015—and invest in two pairs of it. So that when I wear the first pair into the ground, which I eventually will, I have a backup ready to go. Right now, I have my eye on Alexander Wang’s referee pants and am waiting until they hit stores. I’m also stalking a pair of Saint Laurents but I don’t want to say which ones or they’ll sell out! Black and slim cut.
