Designers and More Mingled at Raf’s With Net-A-Porter

As far as fashion retailers go, Net-A-Porter is the epitome of chic. As such, so are the brand’s events, especially yesterday’s cocktail party hosted amid the hustle and bustle of New York Fashion Week. The location of choice for the midday party, hosted by Ad Interim Yoox Net-a-Porter CEO Alison Loehnis, immediately piqued the interest of guests. It was Raf’s, a European-inspired bakery tucked away in NoHo. Inside, cure an Instagrammable interior—a marbled backed bar, scalloped miniature tabletop lamps, and the general charming ambiance of your favorite Italian spot you re careful not to tell too many about.
Cementing the reality that this was the place to be, the party drew a robust guest list of notables, many of whom have worked closely with the brand. The tiny bar was soon filled with the likes of Lucy Hale, Tiffany Haddish, Sarita Choudry, Christopher John Rogers, Wes Gordon, Fernando Garcia, Jack McCollough, Lazaro Hernandez, and more.
For the afternoon, it was all in the details. Outside, attendees, surely warm from the day’s humidity, were met with a gelato cart, parked just outside the venue, which they enjoyed in Net-a-Porter cones. Inside, all else was carefully curated as well, down to the aprons donned by the bartenders. While a special playlist created just for the occasion by Rainey Qualley filled the speakers, guests found themselves lost in fun-spirited chatter. “What did you think of (insert any show be here)?” “How’s freelance life going?” “New York; LA?”—your usual fashion crowd chatter. Between the bakery’s cozy lounge area, and the neighboring street area, which also made for ideal grounds for friendly banter, it was easy to forget it might be your time to head to the next soiree.
