Marni Pops Up at Nordstrom! Inside the Dinner Celebrating the Color-Filled Shop

Last night, technically the eve of NYFW, a select group flocked to Nordstrom’s 57th Street gleaming flagship to celebrate the launch of the Marni FW 24 Vol.2 Pop-Up, where Nordstrom fashion director Rickie De Sole and CEO of OTB North America Matteo Lena hosted an intimate dinner.
“I had the pleasure of attending the Marni show back in February. The energy was palpable and infectious, and I thought—we have to bring it to our stores," Rickie de Sole told Vogue.
As attendees took the escalator to the second floor, they window-shopped the many coveted pieces on display at the iconic retailer. Inside Wolf, the modern restaurant concept created in collaboration with Chef Ethan Stowell, a brass Zydeco band sporting Marni called guests to dinner, serenading them through their first course (with two more to go). The offerings? Italian-inspired fare with a surprise Marni Jam musical performance.
Attendees were among the first to browse the Marni’s FW 24 Vol.2 collection pop-up, featuring women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, which will be open through September 29 at Nordstrom NYC. Not to miss is the “Marni mending,” a customizable embroidery station where shoppers can scribe any phrase or letter they desire on Marni pieces.
Notable attendees included Matteo Lena, Rickie De Sole, Saint JHN, Jarred Vanderbilt, Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr., Kysre Gondrezick, Ella Snyder, Miles Greenberg, Chloe Wise, Hannah Traore, and more. As dinner guests took their last bites of dessert, they strolled out onto 57th Street—brand-new Marni sunglasses in tow.
