The glam teams called it: Old Hollywood glam was a major inspiration for last night’s Golden Globes beauty looks.

From soft and sculpted waves that Veronica Lake would have envied to oh-so-pretty peachy makeup looks, the first major red carpet of 2024 was all about sophisticated and subtle touches. But before the celebrities took to Sunday night’s very windy red carpet, we asked some of our favorite stylists to speculate on what they thought would be on stars’ beauty mood boards. “I anticipate seeing a return to glamour," Gregory Russell shared. “Classic Hollywood looks with a modern, minimalistic spin.”
