Ever since Kate Middleton, now the Princess of Wales, joined the royal family on 29 April 2011, she has been perfecting her polished personal style. Always immaculate and unfailingly poised, the princess is never photographed with a hair out of place—except once a year at Wimbledon.

The avid tennis fan and patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club takes her seat in the Royal Box at SW19 with a sense of giddy excitement made obvious by her facial expressions. While watching the world’s top players in action, she fist pumps, claps, and waves with all the zeal of the most ardent supporter. Her poise never wavers, but her animated reactions frequently steal the spotlight. This year, the princess was all smiles as she made an appearance to watch British player Katie Boulter.
