In New York, PXG Celebrates Its Collaboration With Nick Jonas

Monday night at Sona, Renee Parsons, president and executive creative director of PXG Apparel, hosted an intimate dinner with Nick Jonas to celebrate their collaboration. Like the collection itself, the party oozed with style and energy. The warm space, located in the heart of Manhattan’s Flatiron District, transformed into an elegant lounge, decked out in PXG’s signature black and white.
On the chilly November night, stars from sports, screen, and the runway came out to support Parsons and Jonas. Legendary journalist Katie Couric, who attended the dinner with her husband John Molner, stunned in a scarlet suit. Design luminaries like Zac Posen and John Varvatos toasted the sleek collection.
Downtown darlings Charly Sturm and Alexander Roth mingled with the buzzy crowd. Footballer, reality star, and activist, Colton Underwood caught up with the hosts. Vogue’s menswear editor Michael Philouze and market editor Naomi Elizee chatted about the week’s many celebrations.
“I struck a friendship with Nick over the years and, of course, we have a lot to talk about when it comes to golf and fashion,” Parsons smiled. “It’s been our distinct pleasure to work with Nick on our special collaboration over the past year. He’s passionate, he’s creative, he’s thoughtful, and everything he touches is with the utmost quality.”
After a lively cocktail hour, guests transitioned to dinner. The table was perfectly set with napkins sporting the collaboration’s logo and a monogrammed golf ball served as place settings. A delicious Indian-inspired feast followed. The Michelin-starred restaurant is co-owned by Jonas’s wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and made an ideal celebratory venue.
“I’ve met some great people over the years that have taught me a lot about both the fashion and golf worlds,” Jonas explained. “When I was asked to do this collaboration, it was a perfect fit for so many reasons but mostly because I believe that PXG continues to do a great job of finding partnerships that are bold and break stereotypes.”
