Inside Guild New York, the Bustling and Beautiful Flagship Store of Roman and Williams
Inspired by the grand cafés of Paris and the whimsical imaginations of Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch, Roman and Williams Guild New York bursts with creative energy: part showroom, part restaurant, part city reprieve. First, there s the showroom—filled with Roman and Williams’s furniture, accessories, dinnerware, and fabrics. Then, La Mercerie, a French restaurant in the tradition of the grand cafés of Paris, serving pastries and comfort food and wine (lots and lots of wine.) Finally, the flower shop and library, filled with books from creative art publisher Phaidon.
Take a look inside the design darling’s first-ever brick-and-mortar store in Soho.
