“My mom scored this Pepsi rugby for me at an estate sale in Denver. We were on opposite sides of a waterbed digging through a mountain of retro clothes, and she would throw random cool pieces to me across the mountain of clothes on it. This was one of those gems, and it makes me smile and happy whenever I wear it.”

“Mixing textures and patterns in a haphazard way and not giving thought to it is what I do best. I colored in the khaki areas of the camo with red and yellow on each side, and on the back, I mixed both the yellow and red for a weird, blended look. I like how they turned out, though.”

“I got the overalls for $2 at a garage sale. The Dale Earnhardt T-shirt is an ode to my aunt and cousin from Corpus Christi, Texas. They were huge NASCAR fans, and when I would see them at Christmas in Iowa, they would be wearing these oversize Dale Earnhardt jackets and smoking Marlboro Reds. I was half afraid of them as a kid. This look was inspired by their redneck greatness.”

“Need I say more than my mom loves Crown Royal, and I got this hat for her? She is a doll.”

“Mickey is classic and pure. Mickey is my conscience. I got this from 1980somethingco—shout out the homie. I love Mickey items because they remind me of my childhood and how much fun I used to have even doing the simplest things, and they always remind me to never lose my imagination because it goes such a long way when you want to express yourself the way you want.”
