The 2023 Oscars have come and gone, and festivities were in full swing—even days before the film industry celebrated Hollywood’s most anticipated event of the year.
Just after Everything Everywhere All At Once made its clean sweep this season, snagging seven awards, including Michelle Yeoh for Best Actress—making her the first Asian to win in that category. Brendan Fraser secured his first Oscar for his comeback role in The Whale, and Ruth E. Carter made history as the first Black Woman to have won two Oscars.
The star-studded Oscars soirées brought together the industry s finest, and as we celebrate their outstanding contributions to the field, here’s a glimpse into the glamorous parties that have graced the occasion.

The Vanity Fair Oscar Party Was (Unsurprisingly) the Best Place to Be Last Night
Spirits were high at the 29th annual Vanity Fair Oscars Party, hosted by Radhika Jones, where A-listers came together to celebrate historic wins and nominees alike. The evening took place at the Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills, shortly after the awards ceremony, and was graced by the presence of notable personalities from the industry. Guests enjoyed In-n-Out burgers while mingling with stars such as Vera Wang, Sharon Stone, Sarah Paulson, Holland Taylor, and Sienna Miller, who took over the corner booth. Supermodels Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Lily Aldridge came together for a group photo while Michelle Yeoh and Brendan Fraser showed off their awards.

Elton John Partied With Donatella Versace at His AIDS Foundation’s 31st Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party
Elton John’s annual Oscar Party is the stuff of legend. Last night, the festivities did not disappoint. The world’s brightest talents gathered in West Hollywood Park to support the Grammy-winning singer’s AIDS Foundation.
By the early afternoon, fans gathered by the barricades on Santa Monica Boulevard to watch the stars arrive. A procession of black Escalades soon kicked off and continued until the wee hours of the night. As always, the guest list was glittering. Donatella Versace, Brook Shields, Emma Watson, Maggie Rogers, and more came to support.

JR Snapped Portraits at “The Party,” Hosted by Guy Oseary
Once all of the statues had been handed out and the champagne carpet outside LA’s Dolby Theatre stood empty, the stars decamped from the Oscars to what has become known as “The Party”. Held for the 15th year at the home of the Hollywood talent manager and writer Guy Oseary, guests including Paul Mescal, Salma Hayek, and Trevor Noah let their hair down over flutes of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2013 (poured from personalized bottles), before departing in the small hours clutching gifts of Gucci travel kits that included eye masks, slippers and travel pillows (ideal for a cat nap in the limo on the way home).
As with all the best parties, there was a strict no-cameras policy and a social media blackout. But photographer JR was on hand to capture portraits of the A-list guests.

Academy Museum Hosts A Glitzy Oscars Night
The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures hosted its second annual Oscars Night with over 1,500 guests in attendance, who donned their best Hollywood glam on the red carpet. The event featured music from DJ Toks and a performance by Orquesta Charangoa. Guests were indulged by a delectable dinner by Wolfgang Puck and craft cocktails and coffee from De Longhi. The live broadcast of the event was streamed at the museum’s David Geffen Theater, hosted by actor and writer D’Lo and Dani Fernandez. Guests were also treated to Shake Shack’s latest White Truffle Menu during the after-party.
