The Frankie Shop and Moda Operandi Hosted an Afternoon of Cocktails and Some Spring Shopping

Last Friday, on a sunny spring afternoon in Chelsea, The Frankie Shop and Moda Operandi hosted an afternoon of cocktails and shopping to celebrate the launch of the brand’s exclusive Spring/Summer collection with the e-tailer, “The Art of Dressing.”
Over 200 people made their way west side at the liminal galleries of High Line Nine to get first dibs on the 15-piece capsule collection and many other chic offerings available at the two-day pop-up. Welcoming attendees were flutes of espresso martinis and yuzu tequila sodas with a minimalist grazing table—The Frankie Shop-style—filled with Spanish potato chips, labneh, and dollops of luscious salted butter.
Coinciding with Frieze New York, The Frankie Shop and Moda Operandi partnered with prominent women in the city s art scene, including gallerist Hannah Traore, Simone Bodmer-Turner, and Emma Scully. “The whole experience of highlighting artists and their work, and the conversation between that and fashion was very special to me,” Scully tells Vogue. “I love everything from the collection, but something about this fitted blazer I’m wearing gives off Christian Dior’s New Look but updated—it’s ladylike, modern, and very elegant.”
Inspired by the laid-back leisure of summer in the city, the collection features a line of breezy summer suiting, sheer sets, and signature The Frankie Shop blazers in fresh new colors. With beats by DJ Isabella Massanet and overflowing jello shots, the fun (and shopping) showed no signs of stopping.
