Think of the women who have gone before you, boldly wearing their trenches with everything from black tie to blue jeans and flats: Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Catherine Deneuve in _Les Parapluies de Cherbourg,_Jackie Kennedy, Jean Shrimpton, Jane Birkin. . . .
