Vanessa Kirby Personifies Sarah Burton’s Givenchy at the Fall 2025 Show
“I really wanted to be here in Paris for Sarah’s first show,” Vanessa Kirby says of Sarah Burton’s inaugural Givenchy runway. “Sarah has been my favorite designer for years. I absolutely love everything she does—I think she’s a master. I find she designs clothes truly for women—always extraordinary, feline, and structured in a way that makes you feel so empowered. I just love her.”
Kirby, who collaborated with the designer throughout Burton s tenure at Alexander McQueen, was delighted to attend the fall 2025 show, dressed in a reflection of Burton s strong, yet feminine remit. “The dress we chose felt very classic—the shape felt architectural and strong, but also daytime and relaxed,” she says of the black sharp-shouldered dress with a plunging V-neck.
For the Fantastic Four: First Steps actor, the festivities continued after the intimate runway presentation. At a dinner celebrating Burton’s first Givenchy collection, she joined the likes of Rooney Mara, Gwendoline Christie, Raye, Alex Consani, and Yseult in toasting the designer. “I associate Paris with the amazing shows that happen every year. Shows themselves are really unique as it feels like a real reveal—for example what Sarah has been working on for months, for her first show at Givenchy,” she says. “Everyone was so excited to see what her vision would be.”
