Vanity Fair and Saint Laurent Toasted the Cast of Parasite at a Starry Pre-Oscars Cocktail  

The cast and crew of the twisty Korean drama Parasite alighted on Sunset Boulevard last night, as a cocktail cohosted by Vanity Fair’s Radhika Jones and Saint Laurent’s Anthony Vaccarello was held in their honor at the iconic Chateau Marmont.

Director Bong Joon Ho, one of the more exciting fixtures in another sadly predictable awards season, was joined at the fete by leads Song Kang Ho, Chang Hyae Jin, Lee Jung Eun, Lee Sun Kyun, and Park Myung Hoon; producer Kwak Sin Ae; editor Yang Jinmo; and director of photography Hong Kyung Pyo—all of whom were in town to recognize Parasite’s historic nods for best picture, directing, film editing, international feature film, production design, and writing (original screenplay) at this weekend’s Academy Awards. (Incredibly, before this year, a Korean film had never been nominated for an Oscar, never mind six.)

Over the course of the night, the much-celebrated group rubbed shoulders with the likes of Demi Moore, Rumer Willis, Kate Bosworth, Olivia Wilde, Lil Nas X (clad, as he would be, in a sherbet pink, leopard-print suit), Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Hari Nef—just a few of the starry Parasite fans rooting for it to shake things up on Sunday.
