Alyx’s black flared jeans have the best fit on me—I’m getting them in silver. I’m also really into the new Levi’s 505C. They’re based on the ones that Debbie Harry wore back in the late ’70s. I especially like the faded black style.
I love turtlenecks and maybe have too many! For me, neutral means lamé—layering up a metallic gold or silver turtleneck under a dress will be a good way for me to take my summer wardrobe into fall. I have my eye on one by Toga. I’m also buying Maryam Nassir Zadeh’s lace-up boot in patent nude leather. It kind of has a neo-Victorian vibe.

I’m on the hunt for a new trench, and this navy version by Vanessa Seward is at the top of the list so far.

C.B. Made in Italy boots! They’re gorgeous, they’re classic (though they nod to the vaguely patrician vibe going around), they last forever, and they’ll go with everything I want to wear this fall (and every fall for the rest of my life).
