How Zawe Ashton Got Ready for a Special Screening of Mr. Malcolm’s List 

Tonight at a special screening of Mr. Malcolm’s List in New York City, Zawe Ashton revealed some major news: She and fiance Tom Hiddelston are pregnant with their first child.

Looking radiant as ever, the British actor’s growing baby bump was draped in a beige bead-embellished tulle gown by Sabina Bilenko Couture. “It was such a privilege to work on this dress for Zawe,” says Bilenko, who worked in collaboration with stylist Holly White, of designing the ethereal dress for star’s big night. “She is such an incredible actress and the way she carries a look on the red carpet is unparalleled.” It’s true, Ashton looked entirely glamorous for the occasion celebrating the premiere of the Regency era rom-com, in which she plays Julia, a 19th century society woman courting—and subsequently seeking revenge on—eligible bachelor Mr. Malcolm (Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù).

Before slipping into her fairy tale frock, Ashton received the works from her glam team. In between bites of a banana split sundae, her raven fringe was pulled back into a teased half-up style topped off with a black grosgrain bow by hairstylist Rebekah Forecast, while her lids were smoked out and paired with a soft, sculpted complexion courtesy of makeup artist Vincent Oquendo.
