Zoey Deutch Gets Ready for a Glamorous Night at the Museum
When preparing for an evening alongside Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, early modern, and contemporary pieces, reveries revolve around beauty notes designed to rival even the most enduring works of art. Such was the case last night for Zoey Deutch, who readied for the Guggenheim International Gala with the help of some statuesque styling.
To complement the strong, structural nature of the actress’s black belted Dior gown—the exaggerated bit of leather cinching creating a bodice effect—makeup artist Mary Wiles opted for full brows and a fresh complexion, accented by a liberal swipe of Dior Rouge Dior Ultra Care Liquid Lipstick in red matte Poppy, blotted for a matte finish. And while the texture of Deutch’s burnished chop centered on rumpled waves courtesy of hairstylist Renato Campora, its blunt, chin-level edges skewed sleek and modern, resulting in a beautifully balanced moment worthy of a permanent collection.
